Alexander and Genevieve were introduced by their mutual friend Posey. Alexander can come off as frosty at first, but is truly thoughtful and loyal, and he warmed to Genevieve as he saw her kind nature. Genevieve was instantly intrigued by Alexander, as she found him to be delightfully enigmatic. Alexander is now comfortable enough with Genevieve to share his poetry with her and to call her his friend, which she considers to be high honors.

Briar is a friend of Genevieve's friend Posey, and it was she who introduced the two. He immediately took to Genevieve, recognizing in her his own vivacious and mischievous nature. Genevieve harbors similar positive feelings towards Briar, deriving great fun from his hijinks. The two collaborate each year to throw a massive masquerade party, and can otherwise be found brainstorming ways to have a great time.

Posey is a friend of Dulshay's, and so she also introduced her to Genevieve. The two formed a strong bond right away--Dulshay, like Genevieve, is elegant, stylish, and loves a good party! Genevieve gets a kick out of Dulshay's bold nature and "if you've got it, flaunt it" attitude, and aspires to follow in her high-heeled footsteps. Often, the two of them will go out partying until the wee hours of the morning!

Grayson and Genevieve also came to know one another via Posey--Grayson was one of Posey's first friends. The pair's initial respect for one another ultimately blossed into a romance, and now Genevieve is planning her own wedding to them! Grayson is cheerful, outgoing, and committed to social justice, all traits that Genevieve holds in high regard. In turn, Grayson adores Genevieve, and spoils her rotten!

Jolene is one of Posey's dear friends, and so she introduced her to Genevieve. Genevieve was uncertain of Jolene at first--she is reserved and can seem aloof. However, Genevieve persisted in attaining her friendship, and her efforts eventually paid off, as Jolene revealed herself to be a loyal and insightful companion. Jolene also now enjoys Genevieve's company--she views her as an invigorating breath of fresh air.

Li and Genevieve were introduced by their mutual friend Posey. He is a calm, Zen-like sort, and Genevieve soon found herself soothed by his presence. Li also saw much to like in Genevieve--he admires her ability to "live in the now" and her willingness to help others. He is now helping Genevieve to learn the benefits of meditation, while she is teaching him how to salsa dance!

Another friend of Posey's to whom she has introduced Genevieve is Marieus. Marieus can come off as haughty at first, but he ultimately has a compassionate heart and protective nature. Genevieve has come to see these aspects of Marieus' personality, as the two have bonded over their shared love of art and aesthetics. Marieus greatly admires Genevieve's sensibilities in these fields, and often invites her to collaborate with him artistically.

Posey was one of the first friends Genevieve made when she first moved to Seattle, after coordinating with her to rent out her natural history museum as a wedding venue to a pair of her clients. She is quite shy initially, but if one encourages her to blossom, she has a wonderfully eccentric sense of humor and a caring soul. Genevieve was able to get Posey to open up, and she is very thankful to have done so. Posey eventually introduced Genevieve to all of her friends, enriching Genevieve's life greatly.

Zoe is another mutual friend of Posey's, and thus she linked her to Genevieve. Genevieve immeditaely enjoyed Zoe's high-energy personality, and was thrilled to make her acquaintance. Zoe found a kindred spirit in Genevieve, and loves bringing her on adventures. Their time together is never boring!
