Yopu

A flower delivery guy for Poi's family's shop and at night, a dance instructor. He is also a part of the MSF dance crew.

Backstory:
Yopu was born in Osaka, Japan. He was an only child raised by his single mom who worked in the sex industry and at a red light district cabaret club. They both came to the U.S. around when Yopu is 5 hoping for better opportunities. Things didn't want to work that way and Yopu was left at an orphanage as the stress and responsibilities became too much to handle for his mom.

At the orphanage Yopu had a short temper and kept to himself. He was in denial at first and had the belief that his mom would come back any day now to pick him up. Time passed and he realized none of that was going to happen and took his anger out on others when he felt pushed. He didn't bother making friends. The only person he did respond to without aggression was the caretaker there but other than that he didn't cooperate with anyone.

Yopu was a batter at his High School's baseball team for a couple of years. He gained an interest in baseball during middle school when he applied for a sports club and continued with it for his high-school years. He became pretty good at it and was offered to become the the pinch hitter for the junior and senior teams even during his freshie/sophomore years before becoming the designated hitter for the junior team. Yopu didn't interact much with his teammates, except for one person, or upperclassman. He played well, but he didn't socialize outside of matches. This led him to become an outcast in the club and one day, during his junior year, a teammate made a small rude comment about him and he ended up beating that teammate up badly. He gouged out their left eyeball and was expelled from his school, as well as being charged for second degree assault. He was sentenced to prison for a couple of years then had his sentence reduced to a year.

When he got out of jail he chose to leave the orphanage since he was of age now. Since he had ruined his chances of a sports career, or any good career with his criminal record; he did various kinds of low wage jobs to get things going before turning to sex work and becoming an escort which helped paid for his living much better. It wasn't something he was hoping to do forever and he didn't speak much outside of work. He'd poise as a flirtatious talkative guy in order to attract his customers and get better tips but in reality he was quiet and reserved. He was willing to do anything and become anything as long as it paid for food in his stomach and a roof over his head.

Often on his way to his work he'd pass by an alley where a group of B-Boyers would practice at. He'd stop and watch them frequently until they noticed he was there. He liked seeing them dance, it looked fun and it was something he thought was cool but felt it wasn't something he could do. One of the B-Boyers that would practice there, Mambo, would often try to interact with Yopu but Yopu would ignore him everytime. Mambo would even try to talk to him outside of the alley too, whenever he saw him in the gym, the grocery, or the convenience store, it was hard to avoid Mambo when they lived around the same area. After a certain event and Mambo helped him out he warmed up to him and started to actually listen and be more friendlier.
Since Yopu didn't really have much to do in his free-time, Mambo introduced him to the gang and he ended up joining.

One night he watched an MSF performance by Heaven and Fayth and instantly became a fan at 22. He beated up anyone that would diss MSF. Even getting the gang's help to help him find someone with MSF tickets so he could get them for free.

A year later, he tried out for MSF at 23, he decided to change his ways at that point when he joined the dance crew. He went back to schooling to get a GED, since he never finished HS, to eventually become a dance instructor. He wanted to also try his best to control his temper at this point and worked on becoming a better person both for himself and those around him.

Yopu past 23 refuses to talk about his past except with a select few. When he gets angry it takes awhile for him to calm down before he is on speaking terms again. He's still working on controlling his temper and improving on becoming a better person.

Extra facts:

• He isn't as good with tech like the others, so he uses a flip-phone instead. Whenever he has trouble on the computer he has to ask one of the dance crew members or Kinol/Poi for help. Eventually he does get a touch-phone tho.
• Yopu also often loves to help out others. Usually the oldest in his friend groups he tries his best to offer advice if he can and help with heavyweight tasks. When it comes to strangers, he is hesitant.
• His favorite things are cooking and collecting plushes
• He was bisexual with a preference to men before becoming aware that he actually only had a interest in men.
• His real name is actually Yoru (彩乃夜 Ayano Yoru), but there was a misspelling when he moved to the U.S and decided to stick with Yopu

Relationships:
Yopu thinks Kinol and Poi like they're his own family, especially with the age gap between them. He tends to take care of them the most.

Marcello/Mambo - One of Yopu's Exes that he dated the longest. When he got accepted into MSF, Marcello made him the hat he still uses currently. Marcello is Yopu's biggest inspiration as a person and he hopes he can be just as patient as him one day.

MSF - Yopu joined MSF thanks to Heaven. After watching MSF dance he got inspired to join them. He felt relutant at first because of his past life in a gang and his actions before then, but the crew didn't seem to mind. Joining MSF was the best decision Yopu made, and he's glad he is with them. He considers the crew (Heaven [belongs to tulhip], Angel [belongs to cruel-azure], Sapphire [belongs to SummerHades], and Fayth [belongs to sdark391]) his closest friends.

Appearance:
Yopu is a large frame muscular man in his late 20s. Often doing heavy work from random jobs since 18 and being a dance instructor helped him gain the muscles he has. He tends to wear long sleeves and a hat even during the summer. Wearing dark clothes doesn't help in the heat, so he's definently roasting but he refuses to change clothes. He's too shy to show skin because of his past self, unless he's drunk. He is tired a lot from working constantly
