Pax

STORY

Pax was born to a noble family and destined to be the next king, however his brother was born with a third eye. The third eye is a recessive trait, but very revered by the Grey Eaters, so despite his brother being inferior in every aspect, he was made king instead. Pax was nicknamed Pax as an insult, seeing as he had a strange resistance to killing. However, since he couldn't be king, he decided to be the war general and head of all troops. He himself became a master in the art of maiming, but continued to refuse to kill. One day, when he was fighting with his brother, things got physical. His brother's advisor and lover quickly ordered Pax to leave, but due to the confusing nature of the Grey Eater language, Pax thought he was being told to kill himself. He tried and was unsucessful. He figured the next best thing was to walk the Earth and vow to harm nothing, so his impact would be the same as if he actually was dead.

Him and Owen met when Owen heard of a little furry beast theiving fruits from the village. Owen found Pax and shot him in the forehead. When Pax survived, he insisted Owen allow him to stay at his house for the night. Owen wasn't thrilled, but after hearing him out, decided to let Pax stay for months and months. They bonded and became a couple. However, the village was still looking for Pax's head. They kidnapped him, and Owen had to kill an old friend to keep Pax safe. Pax agreed to go on the run with Owen, but only if Owen agreed to become a pacifist like Pax.
