THE SUMMONER

Munin is a being created out of mysterious circumstances that he himself does not completely understand. All he knows is that he is the result, the byproduct, or the cause of a terrible catastrophe. He also does not know his own lifespan, or whether he is even living, but from the books he's read he has ascertained that he came into being, or at least acquired consciousness, in the year 1945.

Munin discerned early on that he cannot be seen or heard by living humans, though he appears to be in human form. However, he has noted that his presence can be felt in some ways. He shares an accute connection with the spirits of the dead, who inhabit a similar plane of existence as him, though he seems to exist vexingly between the realms of living and dead. For this reason, he has little sympathy for either humans or their spirits. His only source of entertainment and meaning is to summon forth spirits to interact with the living in his place.
