Cass is a small blue leopard that grew up in the same town as Lux. Their mother was a normal leopard, but their dad was a blue tiger. They were born with pigmentation and have naturally deep blue fur. He was born in Porshland, the same town as Lux, but didn't start going to school with him until middle school. They gravitated towards one another since they were both bullied for being pigmented, and they sat together for lunch.
Once Lux's bullies were aware that they had become a pair, both of them started getting targeted by each other's bullies. However, towards the end of high school, it became very apparent that Cass was an easier target due to their small size. Being 5' 2" wasn't exactly intimidating. Cass would find themself being defended by Lux on multiple occasions, and eventually, the bullying finally concluded.
Cass enjoys trying out things like makeup and is particularly fixated on the Ballroom Scene. They are an extremely friendly individual, and devoted a lot of their time in high school to helping Lux get out of his ugly household situation. After a brawl with Lux's parents, Cass and their family took him in as their own and severed Lux's parent's parental rights. Amongst their friend group, Cass is a ray of light. They began identifying as non-binary during their senior year, and everyone was very excited for them.
After they tried a short relationship with Lux, they both decided that it was easier just to be friends. Instead, Cass found a partner in Maz, and they are now a couple.
