Content Warnings: - Death mention.
Veronica says little of her past before arriving in Ishvalar. She mentions how she was once an ordinary elf, and speaks of a friend, her research partner. However, said partner is nowhere to be found, and she switches between the past and present tense when speaking about them.
She is here in Ishvalar for research away from the stuffiness of the academy, hoping to discover the reason behind the sky's runic imbalances. Her research has brought her here, but she's at a complete loss why that is. She lives alone in a little house on the edge of town, the place cluttered from floor to ceiling in books she brought from her homeland.
Personality
Intelligent and yet socially daft, Veronica was too busy reading her entire life to learn social skills.
More often than not, you'll find Veronica with an open book in hand, whether she's walking around town or sitting still in the middle of a dungeon. She is a glutton for knowledge and is always eager to learn new things, no matter how dangerous the process of learning might be.

Trivia
- Her ears are constantly responding to her emotions. Very busy!
- She doesn't have full control over her tails yet, so they can sometimes become an obstacle for her.
- Veronica collects every book possible... but she's never actually read any of the scandalous ones. Those are for archival purposes.
- Sometimes she'll still eat cheese out of habit, as she wasn't lactose intolerant until fusing.

Joining Veronica on research expeditions, even if those are simply digging through her book piles for a specific book or keeping her company while she takes notes, are the easiest ways to her heart. Of course, offering her a new book to her collection is another surefire way to gain her favor.
She often forgets to eat, though, and thus appreciates people who can remind her to take care of herself.

Friendly - Very reliable, and a fantastic companion on research expeditions! I simply must take notes on their combat prowess, as well as their mastery over stone and flame both. The first person to approach in town when seeking out a new venture.
