The Long Arm Friend

The (not so) aptly named L.A.F, a quick runner with an indeterminate diet and food acquiring strategy, though it is theorized to consume fruits and birds. It's also known as Lafter, Laffy Taffy, and other laugh related synonyms, though it only responds to some of these. This specimen is either a late-bloomer or has some type of dwarfism, as wild specimens are almost always much taller than it.

It enjoys naps and wading into deep water until only the top of its lips and nostrils poke out. It's acute sense of smell and well-muscled body allows it to be hooked up to a tracking harness and let loose (with a handler, for safety) in search of a person, creature, or object in some perilous situations.
