Ghostfish (KC)

His name is Ghostfish, but when he's hidden he goes by KC (when he first came to the surface, he was asked his name and he took the first letter from two things he saw, a Kite and a Car.) He lives in a coral reef under the ocean. His species has never been spotted by people on the surface since they can transform to look like a normal mammal. They are terrified of being found since there is a group of hunters around the globe who have seen the goo they leave behind (think the ghosts in Ghostbusters) and have dedicated their lives to figuring out where it came from. The species knows that if they get caught, they will no longer be able to live in the wild as they will get caught and caged for their goo, which glows and has healing properties. They also could be turned into pets, which they would prefer to not happen, but is the better choice out of the two. Ghostfish got into a fight with his family, and ran off. He went to the surface, and met a dog named Cal. They became friends, and at some point, Ghostfish accidentally revealed his identity. Cal promised to keep him safe, and now they are trying to live life normally while trying to avoid the hunters and keep Ghostfishs parents from figuring out he is friends with a surface-dweller. (I just finished writing this and it sounds like Luca I'm sobbing I swear it isn't it's just an ocean creature on land once I get his code it won't sound like this anymore)
