Hershel is a rare beacon of hope and light winthin a world where very little of either exist anymore. He does his best to smile no matter how low things get, and he will always do his best to find the silver lining no matter the situation. He has always been a bleeding heart, and will do whatever he can to save as many people as he can. He tends to take it very very hard if someone is beyond saving, and will dwell on it for a while before picking himself up and moving past it. He has a bad habit of hiding his more negative emotions, putting on a smile even when he is hurting, or brushing off his own feelings or needs to focus on someone else's, even when it comes to his own injuries, he often wont let it be known that he's hurt until it becomes visibly obvious. He is especially protective and worrysome over his closest companion, Ivie, and anytime they're seperated he will become incresingly anxious until they are united once more.

Hershel is a doggedly determined opponent. Despite his gentle nature, he can be quite fierce in a fight, especially when his closest friend is threatened in any way.

He isn't as quick on his feet, not totally adapted to the swiftness of a Hunter yet. His severe burns have damaged his eye and ear, giving him limited vision and poor hearing on the injured side, giving him a pretty large blind-spot when fighting.

WEIGHT: 178 Lbs.
FITNESS LEVEL: Hershel is a fairly fit young man, due in part to his role as a hunter. Before he became one he was likely a lot less sturdy and fit, as he only worked as a doctor and didn't leave his clinic often. Since becoming a hunter he has developed a lot more tone, though he's much more lean and built for speed than he is for brute strength.
TYPICAL ATTIRE: Hershel can usually be seen wearing the traditional attire worn by the Healing Church Hunters, but he does have some less formal clothing that he wears during his downtime at the Safehouse, rare as it may be.
☆PERSONALITY☆
MANNERISMS- Hershel's most notable mannerisms are the ones that revolve around his absolute optimism, he never seems to frown or let a sad look cross his face when he is around those he is close to, only when he is fighting the beasts does he wear a more serious facade. He is always the man to look for a silver lining no matter the situation, always hopeful and always eager to please. He tends to be very expressive with his hands and geastures when he speaks, and seems to always have an almost sing-song quirk to his voice. He is soft spoken, but not shy by any means, he's never afraid to speak his mind, but has trouble with being blunt, sometimes sugar coating a bit too much when someone needs a good kick in the pants. He is also a bit of a fusspot when it comes to protecting his friends and keeping them safe, especially his closest companion and partner Ivie. He realizes that sometimes he fawns and hovers over her a bit too much in his worry, and does his best to curb his anxious behavior, afraid of her growing sick of his worrying. He becomes especially anxious when they are seperated, growing increasingly so until he is sure she is safe.
