Alecto

Alecto / Ἀληκτώ - one of the three Furies, also known as the Erinyes, gorgon-goddesses of vengeance. Alecto, like her sisters, is the daughter of Gaia, fertilized by Ouranos' blood. Her two sisters are Megaera and Tisiphone, and the three furies are vengeance-bringing spirits that punish mortals for their wrongdoings. She, along with her siblings, are Hades' bodyguards and essentially his hitwomen, making sure order is kept in the Underworld and that none of its citizens step out of line.
