I couldn't tell if the singer was supposed to be a manipulative jerk or not because the lyrics are hidden in a veil of mystery, but it certainly felt like he was all 'oh you'll be back, you need me, so just kiss me already, we both know you want to.' while I was listening. So I tried to go for someone that seemed sufficiently punchable, appearance wise. And then he just turned into Jon if he were evil-whoops-
