| Chow's pack in his younger years lived on the outskirts of Yellowstone National Park. They hunted sheep, dogs, and other types of ranch-life creatures. The pack was near exterminated after they were caught in the act of hunting a rancher's goat. Chow, his sister, and one other pack-mate had survived the incident- making it out with Chow's neck shot, his sister's side shot, and his pack-mate's front-leg shot. His sister didn't survive later the night and passed away. Chow and his pack-mate had survived and slowly moved to a different part of the land with not much luck hunting due to injuries. Eventually, they were both caught by wildlife researchers and were treated to have the bullet fragments removed. After a few weeks at a rehab station, both were transported to Yellowstone National Park together. They didn't get to stay together long as both decided to head their own ways for a pack. |
