The only sea mammal hybrid in a town full of land based hyena hybrids, Jonas learned from a young age that it was a dog-eat-dog world out there. Having no easy way to hold anything, he was relentlessly bullied for being clumsy and a male. You see, among Spotted Hyena, females dominate society. They are naturally stronger and fiercer than their male counterparts. Jonas hated this, and so he snapped back against his bullies and joined a gang of male hyenas who wanted to revolt against the matriarchy.
