Sigma

Originally known as "Test Subject Sigma", Sigma was a child who was discovered to have natural abilities similar to The Weaving Stone. Due to fear of her powers, she was locked away in her own room with special barriers that prevent her from escaping. She grew dreary and bored of this existence, until one day she notices a curious Nivet and offers her friendship. Sigma ends up killing Cynosura in envy of the other children who, she felt, had a much more meaningful and better existence. She escapes to Yunus by opening a portal, but the lodehawks from The Lab had followed her, with trained with the instinct to hunt Sigma now.  The lodehawks's aggressive nature was the cause of much general destruction, injury and death. Sigma decides to form a band of others to help her deal with the crisis; she first finds Upsilon, Kapi, and Tau, giving them names to match her's, and then eventually picks up Spica, Nikolaus, Nivet, and Coel, forming the Octant.
After dealing with the lodehawks, the Octant was hailed as a group of heroes and was asked to govern Yunus. Sigma took the position of leader. Eventually, she realizes Coel is ambivalent and believes he may defect; she makes Upsilon discipline him, and then banishes him into The Clock Shop. This leads to Nivet finally confronting Sigma.

Sigma keeps up a facade of being generous, kind, and understanding to get close to others. She is often found to be smiling; even while saying disturbing things she continues to speak in an airy tone that suggests that she's only doing what's best for everyone. Strongly confident in her abilities, she rarely ever loses her composure. She has little empathy for others, and struggles with understanding emotions of distress.

Sigma is capable of many things with her ability, but she mostly uses it to cast dimensional magic. She fights with an immaterial sword.
