Yu-ri was born into a bilingual household where she easily picked up Korean and English. Since she had a weird accent, spoke english, and had irregularly coloured eyes she was avoided a lot in primary school and was labeled as a foreigner and a freak. Yu-ri barely made any friends, and because of all of this, she stayed in her room a lot, meaning she had barely any contact with the outside world other than going to school.

the magical highschool

Soon her parents realised this and decided to enrol her in a magical highschool, that had dorms, meaning she had to begin living outside the environment she had sheltered herself in. Since she was free of her parents there, she decided to dye the front of her hair dark blue, just for the fun of it. At that highschool she crossed paths with a human-demon hybrid who she quickly became friends with. as she attended the school, she developed a bond with him that eventually blossomed into love, and they began dating. After she graduated, Yu-ri decided to move out and live by herself and got a simple job to provide for herself.

short-lived happiness

A couple years later, the human-demon hybrid proposed to her, and after marriage she moved to the underworld where he lived. For a couple years, they had a happy marriage and cherished their peaceful reign as they had a child named So-hye. However, as time passed, they began having fights over trivial things. Eventually, this escalated, and they found themselves entangled in conflict over conflict. strains grew in their relationship, and began to erode the foundation they had built. (WIP)

running away

Eventually, Yu-ri reached a breaking point, and decided to run away with her child. Yu-ri returned back to her former house, and she quickly applied to the easiest jobs. She began living a quiet monotonous life as a gas-station cashier to care for her young daughter, as she raised her.
