Kamidora

Kami is a runaway and the granddaughter of Balatei, a Grand Witch. Shy and easily flustered, she’s very self-conscious about how she’s perceived and worries about embarrassing herself, often holding herself back as a result. Despite it all, she has her heart in the right place and is compelled to follow it when she feels strongly about something. Dio and Neppy, the plants she ran away with, act like doting parents to her.

Ever since she was young, Kami has lived alone with her grandmother, the Grand Witch Balatei Schadenbergiana, in a secluded but opulent mansion full of magical oddities. Though they are related by blood, Balatei showed Kami no kindness and made her the mansion’s maid, citing the fact that she has no aptitude for magic.
With nobody to really call a friend, Kami spent most of her time talking to the plants in the mansion’s greenhouse as she tended to them. Little did she know that most of these plants were once humans that had been transformed by Balatei. Though they could not speak, they could hear her every word.

One fateful day, a witch’s conference was to be held at the mansion. While tending to the witches’ coats and belongings, Kami stumbled upon a lucky mallet that had fallen out of someone’s pocket. While attempting to replace it, the mallet responded to her innermost desires, expanding to its full length and dragging her around the mansion while everyone else was distracted. The mallet drove her to break out a pair of transformed plants to assist her escape.

Kami works best keeping the opponent as far away from her as possible as she is extremely frail. Neppy spit out seeds that Kami can hit with her mallet; these ricochet off walls, objects, and fighters, causing more damage the longer they are juggled in the air. Dio exhales clouds that act like traps, causing various effects like gradual damage or temporarily slowing movement. Kami can also attack directly with her mallet for a mid-range attack, or make Dio bite at close range.
