Bon is a stickfighter that uses his ribbons that functions as a tool, shield and weapon. The ribbon tied to his neck isn't just for show; It's what's keeping him alive. This serves as a vital point during fighting, as most people's goal is to get the ribbon off from him in any way possible. He mostly duels with people as 'performance art' and takes his opponent as his canvas.
Bon was an engineer working to create inventions that aids duelists. He studied alongside Ram, his trusted partner. However, one of his inventions got sabotaged and ended up corrupting Ram. Being threatened and accused, he shut himself in, working tirelessly to create some sort of antidote. He realizes that he needs to learn how to face Ram one day, so he participates in duels to fully immerse himself in fighting and finds it amusing to challenge people.
Engineering used to be one and his only interest and will to live, but he realized that he had been neglecting his own body, and thus he found the form of expression that he loves; dolling himself up. He still loves engineering, but loving himself is more fulfilling than the former.
