Techinclly a parasite, but spurns the idea choosing to provide as much help as she can after Jasper confronts her.
her species was created as organic Ais to run complex computer systems in starships etc. they donot do well at all alone they function best as mine hives with their own species. they are comparable with most other life but direct control is extremely costly and they can create ghostly halucinations to preserve the sanity of other organisms they bond with.
bonding results on strained resources on the host. tiredness need more food. larger creatures or more comptable creatures recover better.
