Astylia Therminal

Astylia Therminal is the heir to the Therminal family which controls much of the currency throughout the kingdom of Talvaska. She is of noble blood and as such seeks to prove herself to her family as being worthy of heading it one day. She has almost no interest in the family business however though she is very apt at book work and accounting. Though she does intend to continue the family's dedication to the finances of the country, she spends her spare time assisting the alchemist Afri Lanvarly, who is one of the foremost experts in the field. His lack of dexterity in the lab is made up by his intelligence and knowledge of magic. Astylia is the first assistant he has ever taken. He sees promise in her and a genuine love for the sciences. He has come to see her as a trustworthy companion and enjoys the time that she spends assisting him.
