The First is the creator of the multiverse, and the god of all that there is. They are the manifestation of the nothingness that was before they created the multiverse, and exude an excess amount of power whenever they are near others, be it other gods or mortals. The form that others see is not their true form, as if any other being, even god, saw their true form, they would cease to exist.
They are a benevolent creator, wanting the best in their multiverse and doing anything to achieve that sense of peace, even if it takes terrible sacrifices to get to that point. They keep themselves away from both other gods and mortals alike, to the point where many both a god and mortal don't know who the true creator of the multiverse is, and give that title to other beings. The First doesn't mind all that much, not needing worship to sustain themselves. They prefer to keep within their own little pocket of nothingness, tending to their garden of incomprehensible flora and fauna, away from prying eyes.
