If anyone in the Tides of the Moon is looking to anyone for any form of comfort, they would be looking to Laurel for it. She makes herself available for anyone if they need a moment of peace and comfort, and as the lead caretaker of those who are too old, sick, or disabled to care for themselves, Laurel knows a thing or two about how to make sure someone is comfortable. The Yulevit-Firtayle is a master of snuggles and has a voice that flows as gently as a stream, and so she uses her skills and her love for comfort to offer the same to those who arent able to get the comfort they need from others.
She is incredibly proud of her skill, and takes great pride in being the Pokemon that others can confide in when they need a moment to breathe. She tries not to, but she does enjoy the feeling of being trusted enough by the Great Tide himself to teach one of his dear daughters how to be a caretaker in her own right.
