• Kazimir is infertile, this was a conscious decision made by the scientists when he was developed.

Kazimir was the product of a long line of previously unsuccessful experiments but when he and his siblings were created it was a breakthrough for the lab. Kazimir was one of 7 Thylacine X Dire Wolf creatures to be born at the facility. When he was only hours old he was given his name of PH0-574, the letters stood for Pre-Historic and 0-574 was his trial number. The Prehistoric experiments were trials which focused on using at least one prehistoric animal to try and recreate it in the modern day, but with some 'improvements' as the scientist saw it. The Dire Wolf was the often used as the base line due to several very well preserved specimens of them being found high in the mountains which gave the lab a lot of DNA to mess around with.

Two of Kazimir's siblings died shortly after birth however, the other 5 went on to have further tests carried out on them. Kazimir was exposed to various different types of bioluminescence to try to see if he would gain the same glowing properties that some marine creature possessed. The first few attempts at this were deemed failures and only traumatised Kazimir and put him in a lot of pain afterwards. But one day they had a break through with him. they managed make the striped markings on his back glow. With this new success they started to 'tattoo' this strain of successful bioluminescence onto him to give him defined and interesting markings. Although they were getting the results they wanted the shear amount of bioluminescence put into Kazimir's body began to have unforeseen consequences. With every treatment Kazimir's internal organs also began to change colour and start to glow, it was only picked up on when his tongue changed from a pale pink to bright hot pink and purple. After discovering that these experiments were actually affecting him in ways they had previously been unaware of they stopped the bioluminescence trials on Kazimir. Instead they started to try other things, which resulted in horns growing on Kazimir's head and his saliva to become acidic. Once this happened he was deemed too dangerous to be used for any more experiments and was instead taken from his family and isolated.

During his isolation Kazimir started to lose the plot a bit, he was alone all day everyday. Eventually out of desperation Kazimir breaks out of his cell and tries to make a break for freedom. On his run through the facility he sees his siblings all strung up and partly dissected, some of them still alive but greatly suffering. Kazimir tries to get to them but is intercepted by a scientist. Anger and rage fills him and before Kazimir knows what he's doing the scientist is dead and blood is dripping from his mouth. When the body of the scientist is discovered loud alarms are sounded and the deafening noise makes Kazimir flee from the building. He ends up escaping out of a second story window and disappears into the wilds. Hunts for him are carried out, however after a few months the search is called off, they just decide he's not worth it anymore and leave him.
