the collateral, forever and always. rookies father Lee was a skilled worker within the company, and he desperately desired to mimic the success of his father to be closer to him. the last time rookie ever saw his father was years ago when he was 12-13 and his father had allowed him to go on a mission with him. rookie had stayed in the ship. the last thing he saw was his father alone in the presence of monsters, abandoned by his crew. everyone told him his dad was gone, and eventually he believed. he masked his youth and pushed ahead, and signed up to join the company.
