Personality & History
Intro
Raknos is calm, careful and patient. He is difficult to visibly disturb or upset and he makes a concerted effort to remain calm under pressure and duress. Beneath his relaxed exterior, however, Raknos is a chronic worrier. He takes things slow and steady to give himself time to work through his anxieties as they appear, typically without voicing them whatsoever. He is self-sacrificing to a fault, feeling the need to step up for or defend others from harm. Raknos does, however, also have a strong sense of justice and fairness, and will always resort to what is best for the situation at hand rather than what he personally wants.
Childhood
After being picked up from the brooding caverns by his lusus, Raknos was brought immediately to the Abbitt guild, where he was raised into a nomadic life. The guild leader at the time was his own ancestor, and began training him to eventually take over the leadership position. Due to his own temperament, the pressure of eventually becoming leader, and his prophetic dreams mixed with nightmares, Raknos was an anxious child and clung to his ancestor.
At around six sweeps, Raknos' ancestor fell ill and shortly after died. Raknos was deeply shaken by the loss, and it was clear he was not presently fit to lead even with help from the guild's elders. Another elder stepped into the role temporarily, while Raknos continued his training. He realized at this point that he had to face his fears and step up for the guild, and focused his efforts on this. He honed his talent in smoke-based magic and created it into something deeply meditative and calming for him.
Kidlat
At around ten sweeps old, Raknos' lusus vanished- And then returned with a second Abbitt, Kidlat. However, in his journey from the caravan, the Abbitt lusus was fatally wounded and barely managed to return with Kidlat. By this point, Raknos had mellowed out and was able to focus on what was important. He channeled his grief at his lusii's loss into assuring Kidlat was cared for, quickly taking a semi-parental/elder sibling role. This helped cement the idea that Raknos had outgrown his childhood anxiety and would be fit to lead. At fifteen sweeps, Raknos fully stepped into the leadership role.

Skills & Arsenal
Raknos makes incense in his free time, usually for his own use, but he sells or gives away what extra he has.
Raknos' magic is based around smoke as an element, involving both spirits and illusions as part of that element. He can place mass enchantments or charms, form objects out of smoke, and interact with spirits, among other things. His magic is somewhat vague and impermanent, like smoke.
Raknos has ocassional prophetic dreams of events he will witness. However, he also has nightmares of catastrophic failure and other vivid dreams, making it difficult to distinguish what dreams are prophetic or not.
