Background
Lemon Square is a Mime, a variant of clown made to invent their own definition of joy. However, since her earliest memories, Lemon has never laughed.
Well, no, she’s laughed before while watching a cartoon or seeing her cousin slip on a banana peel. But to her, these are all just meaningless gaffes with no substances. This is further proved by how often others laugh at things that just don’t matter! Growing up listening to nothing but chortles, forced laughs, and even awkward laughs to ease tension, Lemon began to develop a deep and a permanent scowl that set her apart from other clowns her age.
Finding humor of value was just as frustrating, however. She didn’t discover her saving grace until she came into adulthood. On one of her walks around Pandemonium, she found a crossroad that she didn’t recognize. Upon delving further, she found a place only accessible to those with frowns as deep as hers.
It was here that she found an old library named Downer’s Den. It was stacked to the ceilings in joke books from clowns who came before her. However, these weren’t instructions for the biggest chuckles or how to trick others. No, these were melancholy jokes with no happy endings, stories so cold they made her fingertips numb.
Lemon was immediately captivated by these books and spent the entire afternoon reading them. When she eventually got her fill of jokes, she was packed full of inspiration!! She was about to grab as many as she could carry when she realized that such special text couldn’t be shown to the public. In fact, with their sordid palettes, they’d probably only ask for the punchline.
Understanding her new duty, she took to work over the years, turning the Downer’s Den into a new comedy club named “Le Gaie” where people with only the finest tastes could get their fill on real comedy.

Trivia
- Le Gaie is very bizarre. It's a comedy club, but it's very impolite to laugh. You are expected to just feel the comedy and bathe in the atmosphere.
- Has a sour tooth! Sweet foods are genuinely unappealing to her.
- Gets squeamish incredibly easy. Palette turns entirely green when this happens.
- Was born green but grew ripe as she got older.
- Speaks Clench. Not very well. It's almost as if she's trying to impress someone...
Relationships
Pogo Puddy
Pogo is Lemon Square's cousin and honestly so infuriating to her. He is so talented! This is an undeniable fact. However, instead of keeping this to himself, he chooses to parade around like a featherless goose telling everyone that they can be talented as well! That's not true!! You're either born with it or you're not. Despite their differing opinions, she still treasures him.
Y/N
It's always rare to find Lemon Square actually liking something! But how can she not?? Y/N is the epitome of class, grace, and avant garde!! They desperately want the other to join as a member of their club, but Y/N seems entirely unaware of this.
Drizzle
It seems that life was perfect until the LOL Network came onto the air. Lemon Square cannot STAND this annoying DRIVEL. She doesn't understand how it was even allowed on air!! Now that she thinks of it, she doesn't think it's supposed to be on air. Nonetheless, She watches it everytime it has a broadcast! Just to prove that she hates it! It's not like she actually LIKES this garbage! Not at all!!
Ooo, i love how shaped they are. And the pattern!
