Blair

✧ First Face : The World.

Charming, spontaneous, and incredibly disorganized socially. Everyone is Blair's friend when she meets them; or at least that's the impression given by her warmth. Blair is a warm presence to people's lives and tries to appreciate the beauty of life. Blair is the first to commit to something and not be able to follow through. Blair is often seen as a workaholic (whether she admits it or not) and often puts on an up-beat, optimistic, and personable face for everyone; whether she knows them for a day or not. She always wants to be a dependent friend to many, however, she ends up falling flat and being disappointing when she overbooks herself. While incredibly loveable and kind, she has a hard time swallowing criticism. Because of this she often keeps friends at arm's length and doesn't like to linger on talking too deeply about what she is going through on the inside; that is what therapists are for, right? Being vulnerable is incredibly hard for Blair so she often keeps things light, casual, and focuses on her friends more. Blair always has the best intentions and tries to be a positive influence in someone's life and make them feel like the center of her attention. She has a lot of love-and homecooking-to give. Let her host a dinner or a brunch and she will feel better and her amazing sense of humor will come out.

✧ Second Face: Close ones.

Blair's knack for being personable makes it so people feel like they're already a friend she's known for years. She has no issue exuding kindness in the world and it is as natural as breathing to her. With her closer circle of friends-which is also made up of ex partners-she opens up more about herself and what she is going through that is deeper than work stress. She is slightly less 'on' than she would be with her wider circle of friends, clientele, and girls who work for her. Blair is extremely warm, kind, and has a knack of checking in with her loved ones at the right time. She genuinely goes to lengths to try to make concrete plans to stick to for them. She would do anything for her close friends, as they are essentially family to her, as she is so far away from home. With her family she is similar, if not a bit more humourous with her cousins and siblings. Blair is extremely affectionate and physical with her loved ones.

✧ Third Face: True Reflection.

Blair's sense of self and self-worth is tied to her business. If it's doing well, she is usually doing well, and often is stressed during the busy wedding season and brings home her feelings from work. She struggles to unwind at the end of the day and forgets to be more intentional about relaxing and decompressing. This leaves her a little uptight and exacerbates her need to control things around her to she stays level. When Blair doesn't feel in control she has bouts of extreme anxiety and doesn't realize how much it is affecting her until someone else notices or she is depleted of energy. Blair has a hard time asking for help, as she was always independent, and is used to relying on herself. She needs people to offer help and it is up to her if she accepts it or not; usually she tries to brush it off. Otherwise Blair puts herself first and struggles with vulnerability and letting a partner in is a work in progress.
