Profile
There had never been a monarch in the fairy territory until Queen Silicaris came to power 6 months ago. During her reign, she has traveled through the fairy territory, gaining followers, loyal subjects, and fairies for her royal court. She lives in the Big Tree, the center of fairy civilization and history for as long as anyone can remember. Silicaris is larger that all other fairies, heads taller than even the tallest Tree Elder. She has a childish and wanton personality and shows little interest in actually ruling. The Tree Elders support her authority.
Fairies come out in droves to see the Queen when she visits their town. A few "lucky" fairies are conscripted into her royal court, a menagerie of hot and unusual fairies who sit around and do nothing.
[SPOILER] Queen Silicaris is not a normal fairy. Not only is she extra large, but she moves in an uncanny way. She seems to be made of molten glass and is completely translucent. She claims to be a "pure crystal fairy", although every other fairy in the territory is of mixed mineral/plant/animal heritage. She doesn't resemble other mineral fairies either.
Silicaris is actually not a natural born fairy, but a homunculus made from sand whose body is being powered by Agate. Agate was chosen at random for her small stature, and she lives inside of the queen as her heart.
