Looks like your normal, happy and cheerful trainer, with the one difference being the strange curse that follows her; that of having nearly perfect luck, at the cost of stealing it from others around and bringing misfortune to them. Yet still, it can be useful to have, and isn't against using it in certain situations.
She carries a more laid-back attitude; strong emotions cause the curse to become far more intense and dangerous to others. To prevent that, Quartz is friendly, but won't ever get close to anyone. She's always keeping the same smile on her face, and seeing any deeper emotions in her are rare ocurrances.

Trivia
The most you'll ever see of her is the very superficial friendliness she maintains to prevent any collateral damage brought on by her curse. Even then, through what little personality shows, Quartz can be really kind, while also the type to not get scared at all by most things.
- Has rumouredly emptied a few casinos before; earning her a spot in quite a few watchlists.
- Tends to rely on silly or otherwise risky strategies when fighting other trainers, rarely losing battles.
- Changed her name to Quartz after falling her way into the Pokémon World, wanting to start over with a blank slate.
- Used to living and exploring by herself, has gotten especially good at cooking.
- Wears a beetle pin she herself made; more so a distraction to use in case the true extent of her curse gets revealed.
- Has explored many other regions before, although currently hiding in Johto for.. reasons.
- Extremely attached to her hat; wears it or keeps it with her all the time, and taking it away probably won't end well.

Curse
Being in a certain radius around her will activate the curse; draining away a person's luck and applying it to Quartz instead. This stacks: meaning the more people around her, the luckier she gets, at the cost of ruining others lives, since only bad luck remains for them. Thanks to this ability, a lot of accidents happen by Quartz just being there.
Story
From helping a beetle stuck on it's back; that's how the luck began. It started out only affecting small or trivial things. Yet, as she grew, the curse did so too; bringing even more misfortune to others. Accidents became more common, her family often getting hurt or worse, ending in ███████████████████.
Nowhere else to go after that, Quartz moved far away to go live with her aunt; things were fine for a short while, before her cousin disappeared after going swimming. Convinced that she was the cause of all the bad things, Quartz was kicked out of the house; Though in some twist, she soon ended up tripping and falling down a manhole; soon waking up in an entirely new world.
She decided then to take the opportunity; choosing a new name and becoming a trainer and going toe xplore as much as she could. So far, things have been good.
Relationships
Her very own rival. Even despite his harsh behavior, Quartz can't seem to hate Silver, only teasing him more about it. Always shows up at the worst times.
Best friends brought together by the fact that they are not from this world. Quartz is usually just dragging Miku everywhere she goes.
