Astriel

Astriel is an Evren, a dragon-like species that lives in a secluded mystical forest and rarely interacts with humans. These creatures live in the wild and can change their beast form to a human-like form, which they use more often. Additionally, these creatures have a kind nature, but they may be extremely territorial and very hostile towards any species that lives near them, specially those which may suppose a threat to their home, which ends up making their territoy incredibly secluded, both because of their hostility and the mountains that sorround them. These creatures live as a clan, each having a role to help their community and guard their camp, and are also divided in several divisions dedicated to different jobs.

This Evren, named Astriel, was the only one that survided from his litter. His mother, Nereza, the current leader of the Evrens, was devastated by this, and was only more crushed when she learned from the most ancient seer of the clan that her only son would bring darkness to them all. She then began hating her only offspring for killing her other children and also being part of a prophecy that ensured that he was going to bring destruction to her dear clan. Thus, Astriel grew up being hated by most of his own people and even loathed by his own mother. Only two members from his clan truly cared for him, the past overseer of warriors, who saw him as his own son and later died from an attack from ferocious beasts, as well as a talented hunter, called Scarlet, who thought him as his own brother.

Following his birth, Astriel was first appointed as a healer by Nereza's orders but was later changed to the warriors division with the help of his father figure, who managed to get him there with his overseer position. Nonetheless, Astriel's efforts to be a great Evren and bring peace to his clan were constantly treated as the opposite. No matter how much he tried to prove himself, he would always be seen as the monster from the prophecy by everyone.

He endured all kinds of treatments and had to face his foster father's death, all until his mother decided to get rid of him once and for all, sending some warriors and his dear brother to kill him in secret. Astriel was almost beaten to death but managed to escape thanks to what he thought was a miracle. However, he decided to ran away to faraway lands after facing the fact that his own brother was sent to kill him too but didn't hesitate to fight. Now, he wanders aimlessly throughout the world, going to places he finds interesting while planning a way to take revenge on those who made his life impossible, carefully planning his comeback.

Astriel is a short, thin dragon-cat Evren that has dark, messy and short hair along with a mullet. He is usually quiet and calm, making others have a difficult time when talking with him, although those few close to him don't have such problem (most of the time).

His features are sharp and his eyes often show a cold glare that softens when looking at those he cares about. He has a diamond-shaped mark on his hair and always wears a collar made with a moonstone, which can only be worn by overseers, that was given to him by his father. He has fluffy long ears as well as a thin but fluffy dragon tail.

They have multipe scars on their back from their last battle with the Evrens, as well as a blue and forked tongue. Their blood is also blue, a characteristic of their species, making them blush in a vibrant blue hue that shows very clearly due to their pale skin.
