A reserved Octoling with a heart captivated by machines and weapons. While knowing how to fight, he prefers to support and cheer on his comrades. Typically Hyde won't speak to others outside of his circle unless tinkering is brought up, but even then he's soft-spoken and respectful to those he talks to. There is a fierce protective streak when it comes to his sister's reckless ways, which is part of what awakened his love for tinkering. If he could make his sister's weapons and gear better, then she would be safe. As he grows closer to others this protective streak bleeds over to them. It is rare that Hyde initiates fights, but it is usually caused whenever his sister gets seriously damaged by anyone he deems an enemy. Harbors a dark hatred of Squidlings unlike his sister's easy respect of their fighting skills.
