Her special talent is writing (like her sister, it’s a fond memory because it was her sister who got her to try it out) specifically thrillers and mysteries, though she’s currently training to be a night guard herself. She writes in her free time, and has a bit of a following herself for her few works. 

The illegitimate child of a canterlot noble and a former night guard of said noble. Her mother was paid a large sum of money to keep silent about the affair and leave canterlot, so she was raised solely by her. As soon as she turned twenty however, she packed a bag and set off to find her father. It was her mother who was paid off, after all, not her.

She did eventually find him, though he denied the fact adamantly—his legitimate daughter immediately accepted her as her sister and set out to make up for lost time.
