Kirver has either been blessed or cursed with brimstone magic, they're not entirely sure. Lady Furria says that it's a great boon for her champion to have such strength, but it notices that other whyzzards tend to cross the street when it passes by.

Despite his fearsome appearance, Kirver is actually a surprisingly gentle soul. They are loyal to a fault, especially to those who show them kindness. Though he's unable to speak, he expresses his appreciation with hums and a soft smile. It will make great sacrifices for those it deems its friends.
