Quetzalcosta

The Quetzalcosta is a mythical avian creature in northern Neotropica. Whether or not it truly exists is unknown, but given that it has traits of The Predator (dinosaur-like), it is seen in a godlike light. It symbolizes the freedom of birds to fly wherever they choose.

Its name is a combination of the Quetzalcoatl and "Pharomachrus mocinno costaricensis", a resplendent quetzal subspecies.
