A master of Chaldea. A devilish prankster with mystic eyes of fate perception. They see the threads of fate leading people to their destined partners, as well as what will become their demise.

Rei grew up in Ehime where their family has a shrine dedicated to a goddess of fate. Their family consists of a mother and father, and in most timelines an unfortunate orphaned girl originally from the UK. Their ticket to Chaldea originally belonged to their uncle (no blood relation) who didn't wish to attend. Seeing their fate tied to the mysterious institution, Rei immediately embarked on an adventure to become a Master right out of highschool.

In Chaldea they are most well known for being a surprisingly adept support to their fellow masters and to their own servants... although they're really infamous for being observant to the point of concern. They seem capable of spotting a person's innermost secrets and fears at a glance, truly emanating the energy of a mean popular girl in highschool. Most times outside of missions they can be found making dubious concoctions with Paracelsus, doing dubious experiments with Da Vinci, doing dubious things to Dr Roman, annoying their roommates, and cuddling any servant that will allow them.

Notable design details

• A beauty mark under their bottom lip on the right side of their face
• Dark purple eyes that seem basically black, reflecting no light
• Perpetually upturned eyebrows, giving off a mocking expression
• Dark circles under the eyes due to a consistent bad quality of sleep
• Catlike smile, often more akin to a smirk or sneer
• Leaf or antenna shaped ahoge
• Several piercings in each ear in the lobes and helix
  
• Has no preference for presenting masc or fem, only cares if clothing suits them and shows off their figure nicely
