Bloodpelt is the founder and leader of the element based clan Torchclan. Living in the golden forest, she is the daughter of No-heart. Bloodpelt has the element of fire, and because of this is rather snappy and serious. This is also why she has red eyes. Bloodpelt was known as Redpelt until events unfolded turning her mind dark. Bloodpelt is a rather cruel and cold cat. She has many secrets, including a cave with weapons inside hidden deep within the forest. This is where she spends her time usually when she's not dealing with her clan. She may be the reason several cats have had major injuries.. In the rogue legends, Bloodpelt has been given the title "The red beast" by the rouge Mushroom. Many cats are also told to beware her, and not to trust her fake kindness. She usually lies, and makes sure to keep all her clan members in their place. If someone disobeys her orders, then she will be sure to punish them. Bloodpelt is the sister to Brackenheart and Iceshard. She is also the mother to Cloudpatch, Basilsmell, Strawberryleaf, Woodwhisper and Sawdustheart. Her mate is Snowtail, and she does her best not to let her cruel nature show too often around the tom. If her element is countered by water, Bloodpelt's eyes will turn back to their original colour: blue. She has a disliking towards Starclan, and the keeper Moonclaw as well. She blames her for most of her life's troubles, and wants to be shot of her. Even blaming her for the death of her sister.

Bloodpelt is of Iceclan and Ashclan decent. Her grandfather Shadowstripe is decended from the first Iceclan tribe. Her mother Moonscar (no-heart) was born pure Ashclan. Her element is one of the more powerful and rarer elements out there, being hard to control and very dangerous. Making her angry is something you'd be well to make sure not to do.
