Junnosuke

junnosuke is hard to read. he's beautiful, elegant, and smart. but he's incredibly standoffish towards everyone. he can charm them with his beauty, but he refuses to let people close to him.

he has a rough family life. he lost his dad as a child, and his mom's always been very distant. he spent most of his time with his best friend, hibiki. the two of them had an incredibly close bond, to the point where they were absolutely inseparable. that changed, though, after a traumatic bullying incident where he was deceived into thinking it was hibiki's plan. that along with manipulation from his mother (because she hated hibiki's family) caused him to be extremely resentful. he switched schools after the incident because he refused to go to school with hibiki, and they immediately lost contact.

junnosuke grew up to be a lonely, resentful boy. he wants approval from everyone, but cuts himself off from any real friendships because he doesn't trust anyone anymore. his mother is manipulative and only pays attention to him when it benefits her. he's respected in school, but not popular.

recently he's started cutting classes a lot, but he always gets good grades anyways because he's so smart. he never got over hibiki and the betrayal he felt, so he's started sabotaging him and trying to ruin his life through various means. at first it was mostly just inconveniences but hibiki's gotten a little freaked lately.

it all came to a head when hibiki caught junnosuke in his room, sabotaging something. jun freaked out and they got into a tussle which ended when they found out that both of them still had each others' prized possessions that they had given each other when they were like 10, and kept them on their person at all times. hibiki was horrified to find out what junnosuke had been told, and the two of them made up pretty quickly. junnosuke had feelings for hibiki since they were kids, so despite his better judgment he was quick to believe him. but hibiki's also not the type to lie

they fall in love pretty much instantly even though junnosuke insists that hibiki should hate him for all that he's done. they're even more inseparable now. they're gonna get married :)
