⦾ Olive carries a few Pokemon with her that do not participate in battles. First is Arctibax, a gift from Hassel. Second is Tarountula, the first Pokemon she caught when moving to Paldea, and third is Rampardos, who she met as an injured Cranidos. While the three could surely hold their own in a battle if necessary, Olive would rather they not test their limits.
⦾ Olive's Koraidon is quite playful and despite being a beast in battle, he'd prefer to kick back at a nice picnic with a few too many sandwiches. Thus, he doesn't fight too often, and enjoys a life of luxury as a ride Pokemon. The two are inseparable and have formed a strong bond.
⦾ Olive was orphaned at 12, having traveled the world with her fossil-studying parents before losing them in an accident. Her birth parents often neglected her in favor of their work, but she still struggled with the loss. She was sent to Paldea shortly after to live in Artazon with Brassius (a distant relative). Being in a new region with new people and mourning the loss of her family, Olive was a tough child for a long time. This wasn't helped by Brassius' initial aversion to parenthood. Hassel became the bridge between them, and before long the three became a tight-knit (albeit unconventional) family.
⦾ Olive began school at Naranja Academy when she turned 16, and before long she began her very own treasure hunt. Along the way, she found lifelong friends and explored more of Paldea than she ever thought possible. Olive truly considers Paldea her home, and keeps the memory of her birth parents alive by studying the Ancient Pokemon of Area Zero. Olive finds joy in both art and battling, and aims to one day take over for her father as a member of the Elite Four.

Olive met Belladonna as a Noibat in Kalos. She was the first Pokemon Olive caught, and remains her loyal partner. Belladonna is aloof, but cares deeply for Olive. She considers herself Olive's guardian in the absence of her parents.

Autumn was gifted to Olive as a Shroomish from Brassius, as a way to teach her about grass-type Pokemon. Autumn evolved quickly and found an affinity for hand-to-hand combat.

Dippy was gifted to Olive as an Applin from Arven. Arven gifted this to her as a sign of affection. He was somehow unaware that Dippy was actually a shiny Applin, which Olive found endearing (if not a bit silly).

Olive found Ginkgo just outside of Medali during her journey. It once lived in Area Zero with a herd of its own, but was seemingly ostracized due to its unnatural coloring. Olive nursed Ginkgo back to health and eagerly adopted it.

Olive captured Bristlecone upon visiting Blueberry Academy. She thought he looked a bit odd for a Braviary, but brushed it off due to his playful and friendly attitude. She's taken to calling him her "weird Honchcrow" due to his dark feathers.

Figment was caught by Olive as a Goomy near Casseroya Lake. When Figment suddenly sprouted a shell after evolving, Olive was taken aback. Due to her knack for finding rare Pokemon however, she quickly brushed it off and embraced Figment's unique nature.
KORAIDON'S BALL
A Poké Ball that can hold the mysterious Pokémon known as Koraidon. Arven gave it to Olive before her journey.
SANDWICH
A dish made by sandwiching ingredients between two pieces of bread. It makes a fantastic meal when out on a picnic (Olive's Pokemon like them spicy).
SHINY CHARM
Olive doesn't really know what the shiny charm does. Her late mother gave it to her, and she holds onto it as a good luck charm.
TERA ORB
An orb that holds within it the power to crystallize. When it is charged with energy, it can be used to cause Pokémon to Terastallize.
HERBA MYSTICA
Condiments spoken of only in legends. They are said to be tremendously effective when it comes to promoting health.
LEFTOVERS
An item to be held by a Pokémon. The holder's HP is slowly but steadily restored throughout a battle.
