  • After her mother died in childbirth, her history buff of a father named her after Iphigenia, the princess sacrificed by her father in Greek mythology. Shortly after being abandoned by him for real, leaving her to be passed around by family before finally ending up with her cousin's grandparents.
  • She legally changed her name but it followed her into her Senshi form, making her realize that history will never stop repeating itself.

  • Named after Princess Stéphanie of Belgium.

• Sailor Ilse [Wisdom]
  • Originally born as a Nymph Changeling Princess, she was exchanged with the sickly Princess at birth to keep peace in the land.
  • Finding out the truth and finding their way to the Moon Kingdom, Queen Serenity allowed her to be reborn as a real Princess - Ilse.
