It barely looked human, but just enough to have your brain second-guess. The long torso and feathered arms, the feathered legs ending in hooves, it could throw anybody off.

It was crouched in a bush, gazing around the farm. It comes here often, the farm was too big for the owners to always keep an eye on it. 

A loud cawing noise in the distance, thats what it was waiting for. It leaped out of the bush, using its long legs to basically glide across the field. 

Closing the gap between it and the large bird-like creatures, it sees a large egg resting in a pile of grass. Some of the birds are flocked around it, but still busy doing their own thing.
