i.i PERSONALITY
The Wraith is, first and foremost, selfish. There's maybe one kind bone in his body, but it probably isn't a very sizable one—maybe a phalange. He's very naturally curious, studious, fascinated by the world he'd been shipwrecked in, always collecting samples and setting up life-sized terrariums to experiment with the flora.
He only cares for himself and his own, and who he considers "his own" is only a handful of people. Some of which are animals. He'd like to indulge himself in the fantastical world around him... at anybody's expense.
ii. HISTORY
i.i BEFORE THE WRECK
The Wraith's life had been entirely fine and decent for the longest time. Nothing at all tragic happened to him, really, outside of the typical—parents dying when he was an adult, the associated grief. However, the monotony of things simply being decent got to him. He was very interested in the fantastical and morbid, and wished to live a life of intrigue more than anything.
i.ii INTRO TO CACOPHONY
He joined the crew of a ship, hoping to ease his want for adventure, though it did very little for him. Whilst on the sea he began to have visions of the life he craved—quite literally a devil's temptation as in flashes he put together a plan to create this future.
Purposefully, the Wraith crashed his ship, killing everyone aboard but him—he hit his head very hard, amongst other injuries, leading to major memory loss concerning his identity and most of his life. He was left to the wreck, now haunted by his murdered crewmates, and went on to begin an empire.
