Albertine is regarded as a very talented psychic and hypnotist, with his abilities being compared to some weaker spirits. Albertine is also not very sane. For starters, his family, the Rusthooks, were victim to an incident that resulted in it being completely split apart, with Albertine learning of this information from his older sibling Gabriel. Albertine simply wants Gabriel to be happy again, so Albertine has made it his life's work in between flexing his psychic powers and vtubing to figure out who was behind the incident, and to reunite the whole family. For multiple reasons, this is an unrealistic goal, but Albertine believes it can be done, right? Albertine just has to act cool brave and awesome, and eventually everyone'll find them and he'll get the bad guys and everything's going to be okay!!!!

A few other eccentricities of Albertine include, but aren't limited to: A fixation with spy fiction and spy gadgets, convincing people that his hair is actually blue and he's not at all a blond who dyed his hair blue, a fashion sense that's weird stuff you'd find at a thrift store, an enjoyment of tormenting appreciating forest creatures, and identifying as bigender (which is odd because chimera are genderless and most don't understand gender). Did I mention that he's a vtuber? A popular one in the Altered Lands, even. Nobody knows everything that Albertine has going on, not even Albertine knows what he has going on with himself.
