A very powerful Arbiter, also known as "The Great Lion". Despite his fearsome reputation to his victims, he is a truly caring man; outside of his work as an Arbiter, he seeks to help those in need. This desire was what led him to adopting the four Pevensie children, and later Eustace and Jill.

After the explosion that killed most of the children, Aslan saw that Susan was greatly traumatized by the incident. The decision was difficult, but he soon brought her to a Beholder to wipe her memories, before bringing her to a Fixer's office that he felt would be able to benefit from her talents without growing overly reliant on them.

When the horn sounded, Aslan could hear it, and he knew that Susan was ready to begin her first steps in knowing the truth. While Limbus Company's arrival was an unplanned coincidence, he decided to bide his time.

Eventually, Susan would learn the truth.
