thatcher is a 23 year old possum living with his fiancé jaxton in a small, homey apartment. he really loves to garden, paint, and cook new meals he probably pulled off a random youtube channel or pinterest. most of his leisure time is spent napping in the strangest of places and watching game play-throughs.
he's very much a romantic, especially when it comes to putting things together for him and jax to do together. above all though, he loves to pass out in jax's arms and force him to hold thatch until he wakes up (like a little asshole).

thatcher was raised in a rather loving home along with his older brother, jack. they went to school together, and he became pretty good friends with the class clown/skater bitch sebastian. thatcher wasn't the smartest in his class, but he was rather quiet and friendly, and managed to get through his school years with little issue.
after high school, thatcher went to college to study botany to improve his gardening skills and an overall love of nature + the outdoors. he also had a minor in the dramatic arts, though that didn't get him far due to him being forgetful and prone to fainting under stress. while on a coffee break, he met his future fiancé, jaxton, and the two of them almost instantly hit it off.
thatcher is quite the cook. he really loves to get in the kitchen and throw things together, seeing what works and what doesn't. his favorite thing above all is baking, and there's almost always some kind of muffin or cheesecake stored away for him to snack on later.
thatcher spends a lot of time in the warm sun, digging in the dirt and tending to his plants. he has a green thumb for a whole range of plants, from flowers to mushrooms to things like tomatoes, cucumbers, and other veggies. a lot of the stuff he cooks with comes from his own garden.
napping doesn't seem like much of a skill, but thatcher's tendency for it is... pretty impressive. he can find a way to nap anywhere, often in really fucking unusual positions. his brother and fiancé often find him at tables, in the floor, the bathtub, etc., all curled up and fast asleep. how he does it? no one knows. not even him.
