𝓦 hile the flatlands of Muzin are generally considered more progressive than the highland regions there are still limits in polite society: choosing one gender to love, maintaining the barter system, and relying on memory. But Miroth has always been intrigued by outside cultures, and has questioned the polite ways of his people. Some of them he understands but disagrees with, and some he cannot comprehend. As a youth, Miroth's talent for trade and returning favours lead him naturally into the life of a merchant. He acted as a runner, then bookkeeper, then partner before establishing his own trading company. In this job he was able to satisfy his appetite for travel, meeting new people, and playing by the rules of other cultures (primarily Suoro and Bodove). Along the way, Miroth learned a few scandalous details about himself, foremost among them a talent for reading, and a predilection for all sexes. While he keeps these truths close to his chest to prevent potential damage to his business, Miroth believes firmly that there is nothing wrong with living his life this way, and has no intention to change his ways to satisfy some old crone's idea of propriety.

While Miroth is a pleasure seeker, he's not a hedonist, he knows his limits, even if he occasionally pushes their boundaries. Always curious about other cultures, and the unknown, his curiosity has opened many doors, earned many allies, and brought much happiness to his wandering.
