Initially just meant to work a clerical job in heaven, Cupid grew quickly bored of the repetitive, boring, and frankly soulless aspects of it all, eventually becoming a local nuisance about the office. Soon it became clear to the higher choirs that this initial assignment was not meant for him, and reassigned him accordingly, if only to prevent further complaint from the other angels. Cupid was put through a few jobs, but eventually found himself in the business of punishing the souls of those who were cruel to their fellow mortals in life, a job often given in the form of pairing up an angel with a compatible demon. It was then that Cupid met Azmodeuz, who was said to be a former medic, but is now for reasons unknown(to officials, at least) taken up ranged attacking. At first, they had some trouble getting along, but as time went on, they found they had more common ground with each other than they first thought, and soon became nearly inseparable. Cupid now does his job happily, and spends his time in between hanging out with Azmo, getting up to varying sorts of mischief. |
