harletta is sort of a clumsy nun, at one point like i stated above she ended up praying to the wrong god and in consequence she got her hair cursed, the moment she showed it to the other sisters in the church she was in she was immediatedly kicked out cuz it was pretty dangerous and atleast at that time she had no control, later on she learns how to control her hair properly so it won't get in her way again, since she was kicked out of the church her main goal is to make a new one and convince other people to get into her religion and convince them that maybe the god she's praying too aint so bad after all.
