Born, an only child, to a hardworking and small family, Heriot Fischer “Junior” was named after his father. The name Junior truly befitting him as he was a very small kid. While his parents didn’t make a lot of money it was not as if he was ever left hungry, simply put he just didn’t grow very much. Sometimes they would worry a stiff ocean breeze would blow him away, yet he was always full of life and energy! With the small income they had both his parents worked to make ends meet, often leaving him with family friends or even by himself when he was older. His dad in particular would be gone a long time as he was a fisherman. Nevertheless he had a happy childhood full of laughter and love so that even now he would recall it with a big smile, omitting any details of his sometimes absent parents.

Teen/Young adulthood

His teen years earned him his first big growth spurt, suddenly much taller making him feel somewhat awkward with his lanky new figure. Though it was also helpful as he was eager to help around the house. And with this height people, including his own parents, tended to take him a bit more seriously. He could often be found carrying stuff around for his mother who worked at the market or running after his father when he had forgotten some nets for fishing trips. Others would comment on his behavior saying he was “pure of heart” or generally “big hearted” for it could be rare seeing a teen so helpful and close with their parents, which also lead to his nickname “Heart.”A name he now much prefers going by. Unfortunately for him height was the only thing that he had gained, still leaving him scrawny. Struggling when carrying things around. It motivated him to start training physically as well, anything to be a better son and a better help!

As time went on the years passed by quietly. Sure everyone got a little bit older but life was uneventful for the most part. That was at least until suddenly one day, in his late teens and early adulthood, his life was turned upside down. It started with the dock bells ringing after a big storm. The storm itself had already been a worry for him and his mother, who had watched his father stubbornly go out on “one more fishing trip” right before it hit. Wreckage of the fishing boat had floated ashore with no sign of survivors. His mother wept as she crumpled onto the dock while Heart gazed on in pure shock, seeing for the first time what a small frame his mother had. In one fell swoop the calm happy life he had known had halted. Grief hit them both hard, but Heart dealt with it by keeping himself mostly locked at home. Dreams and passions he had were shoved aside. He dropped out of school, in which he was in his last year, and instead helped out even more than before. Having seen his mother like that in such a crucial moment made him fearful for her and adamant that she needed to be taken care of. Over time she tried her very best to assure him that she was fine, and pushed him to at least pick something up besides “housework” or following her along to the market. It took him a while but eventually he picked up a job at a cafe.

And that is where you can find him still, the sharp edge of the grief has faded though he still seems to be a bit aimless. His happy demeanor at least had returned and he could honestly say that he was closer to his mother more than ever.

Twinkling little lights gather up in the sky. Generally used to light up a space or to add a “sparkling effect” to self or target. Can also be used offensively, though not doing much damage. The small stars come raining down instead, doing damage in an AoE circle. More effective and brighter at night.

A sunny warm feeling fills the chest and radiates out. Gradually regenerates magical energy of self or target. Can be used to boost effectiveness of other spells as they have a “deeper well” of energy to use, though only temporarily. Leaves the target feeling more rejuvenated overall. More effective during the day.

Charging magical energy directed up to the sky, a big orbital light, reminiscent of the moon, is summoned. The bright light shoots in a beam or flourish from the user, damaging a single target. Depending on which phase of the moon is reached it can do more damage, however it takes more time, energy and concentration to do so.
