Tianfei
Tianfei, or simply Fei as she prefers to be called, is the Qin family's golden child. It’s hard to tell what she's thinking, and she marches to the beat of her own drum, but this doesn't seem to bother her family—“eccentricity is the sign of a true genius,” as her father always says. She is technically still a high school student, however, more often than not, she doesn't attend school. Nevertheless, she effortlessly maintains her position at the top of the class.
She is fascinated by Magi-Tech, and will often spend hours tinkering with her own little creations—she tends to lose track of time and stays up late, which in turn leads to her being very sleepy during daytime, dozing off frequently, and generally being a low energy individual. She likes to quietly analyze the world around her, and has a knack for picking up on other’s emotions. While her interactions with people may come off as blunt, it stems from her genuine curiosity rather than any ill will.
ABOUT
Being the ones in charge of the Magical Technology Development Corporation, the Qins have a reputation for being tech-savvy. Tianfei, however, is extremely gifted, more so than any other family member was at her age, so it comes as no surprise they all have high hopes for her future. She practically grew up at the Magi-Tech research facility—her parents' workplace—and would memorize every detail about every piece of machinery, even giving advice to the employees which would turn out to be surprisingly useful. To no one's surprise, she began building her own contraptions at a young age, and the research facility became her personal playground.
Even now, Magi-Tech remains her special interest—in fact, she hardly has any passion for anything else, like attending school or making friends, which she constantly dismisses as ‘tiresome.’ While she gets along well with her various family members and the employees at the research facility due to their shared technological know-how, she struggles to connect with others her age, as she just doesn’t share any interests with them. Ironically, while she’s not particularly fond of socializing herself, she does enjoy observing strangers and their mannerisms out in public spaces.
As she matured, her creations became more and more complex, with her often spending days trying to perfect them. She can create nearly anything if given the appropriate time and resources—with one major exception: Artificial Intelligences. It seems she cannot figure AI out no matter how hard she tries, which is extremely frustrating to her—after all, most technology within the Domain is run with some sort of AI assistance. This is precisely why she has taken such an interest in Nona, an AI like no other.

Fei loves Kai's cooking more than anything and shows up at his restaurant almost daily, with Kai jokingly calling her 'the only reason he's still in business.' Beyond that, they're also good friends who have a lot of trust in each other, and Fei thinks of Kai as a sort of older brother figure.
Fei and Neo have a lot in common, such as similar interests and habits. Fei admires his programming skills and wishes to learn a thing or two from him. However, she doesn't entirely agree with his idea of justice.
Fei considers Nona the most fascinating piece of technology she's ever encountered. It's become a goal of hers to create her own autonomous AI companion—though she hasn't achieved any significant breakthroughs yet. Fei often teases Nona with her desire to take the AI apart and reverse-engineer her technology.
