Born and raised in the heart of Natal, Klaus had become accustomed to a life surrounded by corruption. His mother was a fine woman, despite also growing up in Natal. She did her best to safeguard her son, making sure he kept his nose out of where it didn’t belong and teaching him skills such as common courtesy and how to respect others. Unfortunately for her, it didn’t seem to matter how hard she tried to keep Klaus out of harm's way; he was enticed by it, much like a moth to the flame.

It started off as small, petty crimes - vandalism, shoplifting, public intoxication - only to blossom into more offensive crimes, his most memorable being homicide and drug trafficking. His name spread quickly on the street, many giving him their own variation of an alias; rabid dog and king were of his favourites. Within a matter of months, Klaus had very quickly become the top dog in Natal. It was his oath to loyalty and the fearless demeanor he held in the face of danger that had earned him the respect he holds to this day. Before he knew it, Klaus had a harem of his own; those willing to put their life on the line for him at the drop of a hat.

As Klaus matured and left his youth behind, he no longer involved himself in such petty crimes. As it turns out, the business of narcotics and entertainment was much more profitable than stealing anyones wallet could ever be. He had purchased himself a club as a means of disguise for his narcotic business; a once rundown building not far from downtown. With a little bit of elbow grease and those willing to work the club for him, “The Mad Dog” had become somewhat of a safe haven for him and his followers. Now don’t let the name mislead you; TMD was not like your average raunchy strip club. It held far more respect for itself, and only those of high stature were permitted entrance. Unless of course you knew the dancers who worked the floor; Klaus was always more lenient towards the women who worked for him and allowed them to bring guests as they saw fit.
