has a parasite that comes out as a tail when it feels threatened, parasite sees through red eye
Newt has no control over the parasite but ppl dont know that so they just think newt is just attacking them for no reason (newt has a lot of enemies due to this misunderstanding)
newt's eyes used to be both green, but the parasite turned their left eye red
